1.
Why use a timeshare vacation in the first place? My reasons may not
be the same as yours but here they are, and maybe they’ll help you in your
decision making process: |
| |
a. Comfort! I have bought into the timeshare vacation "system" a couple of
times for the simple reason that I want to travel, but it was hard getting
me out of my ruts at home. This way I am eager to travel and I know the
quality of accommodation that I'm getting…which in every case is first
class. At my age (no spring chicken here!), I can't go the really
inexpensive route any longer.
b. Convenience! The units are available to me each year (except for
one, which is every other year), so all I do is look at the calendar and
choose. If you rent from me, all you do is decide where and when you want
to go and I take care of the rest!

2. What does it cost to rent a timeshare week from me?
This depends on whether you rent from my "home" resort, or whether I
arrange an "exchange week" for you to another resort or another time than
my ownership.
|
| |
a. Home resort/home week: about $700/week.
This can go up or down slightly depending on the size of unit and how many
people it sleeps. I have a range of unit sizes, from studio to 2 bedrooms.
We need to discuss details by phone or email. There are too many variables
to print here.
b. Exchange resort/exchange week: about $950/week.
Same as 2.a. above. |
|
|
3. Where and what are my "home resort/home week" ownerships?
(Click links for pictures
and info) |
| |
a. Playa Grande:
On the beach west of the Cabo arches, clear sunset
views, glorious architecture, great restaurants, multiple pools, 15 min
walk to Cabo San Lucas, a studio unit, sleeps 4, one bath, partial
kitchen, balcony.
b. Mayan Palace:
On the beach at Puerto Penasco, Puerto Vallarta, Nuevo Vallarta,
Cancun (Riviera Maya), and Acapulco, great food and extensive pools,
private locations, one bedroom, sleeps 6, one bath, balcony or patio. |
|
|
|
4. The pricing: I am charging a fair
market rental price for the units, which is a steep reduction from the per
night rates charged by the resorts. When you do the math:
$700/week for 2 people =
$50/person/night. For 4 people =
$25/person/night!
$950/week for 2 people =
$68/person/night. For 4 people =
$34/person/night! |
